I travel around the world to experience various beauty and wellness treatments. I like to experience whatever that culture is most known for, and learn about the ingredients and treatments that are native to their country. I just got back from an INCREDIBLE stay at Atlantis Paradise Island, Bahamas and it was everything. I was lucky enough to have a sponsored spa day at the amazing Mandara Spa, and experience everything it had to offer.

Mandara Spa, Atlantis Paradise Island, Bahamas

I love love love spa days, and taking time out of my vacations to truly relax and unwind. Its mandatory for me to have a spa day either at the beginning or end of Mandara Spa at Atlantis, Paradise Island is the perfect escape for relaxation and zen at Atlantis, Paradise Island.

Taking of the Waters

Bahamas Botanical Massage | 50 MIN

A mind-body experience to loosen muscles and open energy channels. Based on your desired result, a selection of Bahamian ingredients have been curated to accompany a serene massage to melt away tension and stress, lulling the body into a state of bliss.

Select from:

  • BAHAMIAN LULLABY : For relaxation and soothing, a blend of Sour Sop Leaf, Fevergrass, and Hibiscus Flower is the essence of this therapy.

  • ISLAND ZEST : A mixture to energize, featuring Feather Leaf, Peppermint, and Neem.

  • CARIBBEAN CALM : Reduce inflammation and provide a pick-me-up with a synergy of Sandalwood, Grapefruit, Rosemary, and Five Finger Leaf.

As usual, I went with a massage. I was offered the Bahamas Botanical Massage, a 50min full body experience that incorporates native plants, herbs and oils. I honestly couldn't pick between which option I wanted, but since I love hibiscus flowers, I went with the Bahamian Lullaby. I was blessed with Fredricka as my massage therapist, and she was PERFECT. I'm that person that has to get really gentle massages because I'm so delicate, and Fredricka was FANTASTIC. She constantly checked in to make sure the pressure was fine while still rubbing out the knots I had in my shoulders and my back. I don't even remember how many times I drifted off to sleep lol. It was pure perfection.

The Bahamian Lullaby features native Bahamian plants and herbs such as sour sop leaf, fevergrass and hibiscus.

  • Sour Sop Leaf - reduces inflammation , anti-aging, overall skin health, treats skin conditions (eczema, psoriasis)

  • Fevergrass - reduces muscle pain and swelling

  • Hibiscus Flower - anti-inflammatory , antioxidant, anti-aging, exfoliation

I was more than pleased with the Bahamian Lullaby massage. Not only was my body completely relieved, my skin was soft, glowing and feeling INCREDIBLE.
