I absolutely love traveling and experiencing different spas and wellness centers around the world. BUT, I love nothing more than finding an amazing luxury spa right in my own backyard. During my research for luxury hotels in the tri-state area, I came across The Underground Spa @ The Logan Hotel and I was blown away !

Filled with local art and local history, this the perfect luxury hotel in Philly for a quick trip, girls trip, baecation, staycation or even a full blown family vacation !
Not only is The Logan Hotel a 5 star hotel, it also is the home to the #1 rated spa & wellness center in Philadelphia, The Underground Spa & Wellness. I was able to experience two services here over the weekend and they were incredible...I can see why they are rated # 1 !!
I started off with the The Pink Grapefruit Experience. I wanted to try something different from my usual facials and this full body service was just that. The pink grapefruit experience is a full body polish && it's the perfect way to clean and eliminate dead skin while gently exfoliating the body && leaving it smooth, silky and radiant. They use certified organic grapefruit seed extract which purifies the skin with its natural astringent properties and helps to brighten and tone skin. After a cleansing ritual (aka a warm shower and btw, that shower is everything), the massage therapist applies a soothing, heated Shea Butter wrap that you will sleep in for about 5mins, and the service is unfortunately over. I was extremely relaxed after this service and the glow my skin had.... INCREDIBLE !!! I will absolutely do this service monthly or two times a month, especially with the cooler months approaching.
I was so blown away by the atmosphere of The Underground Spa. Everything was incredible, from the atmosphere the staff and the treatment rooms...everything was amazing.
If you are looking for a nice, relaxing luxury spa day in the tri-state area, The Underground Spa should be on your list !!
